Nothing to release.

Nothing to heal.

No lesson hiding behind the curtains waiting to leap out and improve you.

You may put your emotional toolbox down by the door. 😂

This little corner exists because somewhere along the way, grown-ups became terribly serious about what counts as a worthwhile use of time.

We would like to respectfully disagree.

Looking for faces in tree bark is worthwhile.

Giving ridiculous names to squirrels is worthwhile.

Making tiny things for no apparent reason is worthwhile.

Wondering where one particular ant thinks he's going with that enormous crumb is worthwhile.

So is doodling in margins.

Reading children's books when there are no children present.

Making shadows on the wall.

Walking outside specifically because the moon looks enormous.

Keeping an interesting stone.

Laughing until no sound comes out.

And stopping whatever you're doing because someone says:

“Come look at this.”

Those moments count.

Perhaps considerably more than we've been led to believe.

So wander.

There is no correct order.

Open whatever catches your eye.
