Pieces from the journey of Two Feathers Healing Arts.
This is not a collection of perfect things.
It is a collection of things that were made.
Paintings. Portraits. Symbols. Experiments. Offerings. Pieces that began with an idea and others that seemed to know what they wanted to become before I did.
Some were created for particular people. Some came through moments of exploration, healing, curiosity, or play. And some simply began because there was something inside asking to be made.
Together, they tell part of the story of Two Feathers.
Wander slowly.
Look closely.
And perhaps allow something to speak to you in its own way.
Small glimpses from deeply personal journeys.
Every Soul Portrait belongs first to the person for whom it was created.
The images, symbols and messages that emerge during a session can be deeply personal, so complete portraits are not displayed here without permission.
Instead, this gallery offers small anonymous details—fragments of a much larger language of image, symbol and connection.
Each fragment shown here has been chosen with care, allowing a glimpse of the artwork while preserving the privacy of the person whose story it holds.
Every Soul Portrait begins with an open page and no predetermined image.
Where image, color and symbol are allowed to travel farther.
Shamanic Paintings grew from the same intuitive process as Soul Portraits, but with room for the imagery to expand through color, texture and mixed media.
Each begins without a predetermined destination.
Images emerge. Symbols arrive. Colors shift. One mark leads to another until the piece becomes what it was meant to become.
No two journeys are the same.
Sometimes a single image is enough.
A Sacred Symbol begins with a name and an open page.
No story is requested beforehand. No explanation is needed.
What emerges may be simple or intricate, familiar or unexpected—a small visual language created for one particular person at one particular moment.
Each symbol is offered exactly as it arrives.
Nothing added. Nothing taken away.
Each symbol was created individually, carrying its own imagery, meaning, and message.
Not everything begins with a plan.
Some pieces begin with an intention.
Others begin with a color, a scrap of paper, an interesting texture, an unfinished thought, or the simple desire to make something.
This is where those pieces live.
Experiments. Paintings. Studies. Doodles. Mixed media. Old ideas revisited and new ones still finding their way.
Not everything here needs to become something else.
Sometimes creating is reason enough.
Some pieces reveal something unexpected.
The same watercolor, photographed under different lighting.
Sometimes the art was never really the point
Some pieces were made alongside others—in workshops, community projects, moments of respite, and ordinary afternoons spent creating together.
The finished work tells only part of the story.
The rest lives in what happened while we were making it.
Created together during a respite session.
We painted side by side.
Later, the finished piece was auctioned—with her blessing.
What remains for me is not simply the painting, but the time we spent creating it together.
Other pieces came from workshops, shared canvases, creative experiments, and the simple freedom of making something together.
Different hands. Different moments. Different reasons for beginning.
But something happens when we make things together.
Every studio has them.
