Two Feathers Healing Arts was never really meant to become a business.
It began, as so many meaningful things do, with a simple desire to create, to connect, and to be of service.
Over the years, it has taken different shapes, lived within different walls, and found its way into the lives of people I could never have anticipated meeting.
But beneath all of those changes, the heart of Two Feathers has remained remarkably simple:
Healing through art.
Creating connections.
Illuminating paths.
Long before Two Feathers had a name or a home of its own, there was a belief that creativity could reach places words sometimes could not.
In 2012, that belief began taking shape through the HeARTworks and Chrysalis projects—small creative acts intended to move outward into the world like ripples.
The work was simple in spirit: create something meaningful, offer it freely, and trust that one act of kindness might become another.
Life interrupted that chapter before it could fully unfold, but the idea never disappeared.
It simply waited.
Two Feathers has always been about connection.
The space between one person and another.
Between creativity and healing.
Between what we can see and what we sometimes only feel.
The two feathers remind us that we were never meant to make the journey entirely alone.
Sometimes we are the one carrying the light.
Sometimes someone carries it for us.
And sometimes, quite simply, we walk beside one another for a while.
Over the years, I have learned that it is often the smallest things that leave the deepest imprints.
A smile.
A handwritten note.
A painting.
A conversation.
A moment when someone realizes they have truly been seen.
Two Feathers exists to create more of those moments.
Not to tell anyone who they should become, but to offer places, experiences, art, words, and little reminders that might help them recognize something already living within themselves.
Sometimes we become the candle.
Sometimes we become the mirror.
Either way, we help one another see the light.
Create with intention.
Lead with kindness.
Honor the individual journey.
Notice the little things.
Choose connection over division.
Leave room for wonder.
Give when you are able.
Remember that everyone carries a story we cannot see.
And whenever possible, leave a little more light than you found.
For most of my life, creativity has been one of the ways I have made sense of the world.
I have been an artist, caregiver, teacher, listener, seeker, and witness to more extraordinary moments hidden inside ordinary ones, than I could ever count.
Two Feathers brings those threads together.
I don't believe my role is to hand someone all the answers.
I think sometimes my role is simply to hold up a lantern, offer a key, or sit beside someone long enough for them to recognize the doorway for themselves.
It is an honor and a privilege to do this work.
And I am very glad you found your way here.
Every doorway within Two Feathers leads somewhere a little different.
Follow the one that calls to you.
