Drum Painting Class

Natives believe the drum to be the Universal Heartbeat of Mother Earth. The First sound that was heard upon creation. When the drum is played that sound is manifest in a variety of rhythms. 

Drums were painted and adorned with images that represented different Tribes, symbols of protection, power or various interests of the drummer. Drums were used for celebrations, ceremony and connection to the community, Spirit and The Great Creator.  

Please bring printed copies of any images, designs or symbols you would like to transfer to your drum. 

If you already have a Drum you prefer to paint on, please feel free to bring it with you. However, you will need to register in person or via phone. The cost for the class would then be $40.00
